Polybutylene Terephthalate offers excellent mechanical properties combined with good chemical resistance. PBT-P has good impact resistance and toughness, low coefficient of friction & wear, and does not need lubrication. It also is resistant to chemicals, chlorine, water, and steam.
PBT玻璃纖維強化，強度極高，熱變形係數極小，耐熱性比一般PBT更高，良好的機械性能、摩擦係數小、動態疲勞強度好，電氣性能優良，甚至在熱水中依然穩定。它的耐化學性良好，對於氯、水和蒸氣也都具有抵抗性
