PBN is an engineering plastics of polyester system. It has excellent wear resistance and sliding charcteristic. Additionally, it has hydrolysis resistance, chemical resistance and heat resistance. PBN is a plastics with good balance of properties
PBN是用聚酯系的工程塑料，是一種綜合性能良好，耐摩耗性，滑動特性，耐水解性和耐化學等特性出色的材料。如果是與PTFE比較，其機械強度，和低線膨脹係數等被提高，同時與PPS比較，其耐摩耗性出色，PBN是一種綜合性能佳的材質。
與PBT比起來:
★汽油等揮發性化學抵抗特性較出色
★耐水分解性較出色
★滑動特性較出色
★高負荷變形溫度較高
★純度較高金屬等有機物較少
與PTFE比起來:
★比重較輕
★機械強度較高
★熱變形溫度高
★線膨脹係數較低
