PBI Alloy would improve the heat resistance and mechanical strength of PEEK, while providing a product with heat resistance between PEEK and polymide, which was unprecedented in the market. Until now, it was hard to produce PBI product alone through extrusion and injection molding. However, the productivity have greatly increased because of the PBI Alloy.
合成PBI透過混合其他耐高溫材料可增加PBI材質韌性，其耐熱性介於PI(polymide)和PEEK之間，是一項前所未有的全新高階工程塑膠，直到現在PBI還是無法採用射出或擠出的加工方式進行大量生產，但此合成PBI混合料卻可以採用各種加工方式，大大的增加了產能。
★熱學性能比較:PI(polymide)>PBI Alloy>PEEK
PBI Alloy的熔點是380度，其負載的熱變形溫度是300度，比PEEK更高
★機械強度比較:PBI Alloy>PEEK>PI(polymide)
以拉抗強度和彎曲強度進行比較
★高溫下的機械強度比較:
PI(polymide)其耐溫度較高約400度，但其機械強度卻只有約50MPa
PEEK其耐溫度比較低約200度，但機械強度比PI好約100MPa
PBI Alloy除可耐高溫約320度外，其機械強度卻高達約120MPa，高溫下的PBI Alloy依然保持極高的強度
★線膨脹係數比較:PI(polymide)>PEEK>PBI Alloy
★耐磨耗比較:PEEK(極佳)>PBI Alloy>PI(polymide)
