Phenolic LE是採用更細緻的亞麻布混合酚醛樹酯，根據美國NEMA標準，"LE"等級屬於布質電木為機械電氣用途，可做精密加工，跟"L"級相比，其電氣絕緣性能更好，吸水率較低，但機械特性部分"LE"則不如"L"等級。
